GRAPHIC  DESIGNER  &  COMMUNICATION  PROFESSIONAL

I am a left-handed, right-brained perfectionist constantly trying to find the balance between maximum productivity and burning out.  As a college student and aspiring graphic designer, I rejoice in the little victories and the major achievments in life, from succesfully making it to my 8 am without spilling my coffee to helping  organize, promote, and execute a $50,000 campus-wide event.

I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama in a family of five.  I was homeschooled from first through twelfth grades.  From an early age, I expressed an interest in art, and by the beginning of high school I knew I wanted to be a graphic designer some day.  I spent my first two years of college at Berry College in Rome, Georgia, pursuing a degree in Communication with a Visual concentration and a Business minor.

In July of 2016, I got married and moved to the Charlotte, North Carolina area to be near my husband's family and work.  In December 2017, I graduated from Wingate University with a degree in Communication with a Public Relations concentration.  I am currently working as the Marketing Coordinator for a visual marketing company in Locust, North Carolina.

My primary interests and experience are in graphic design, but I have gained some experience in public relations, social media management, marketing, photography, video editing, and event planning as well.

​

Besides my work, my hobbies include cooking and baking, hiking, reading, photography, and traveling.
